We all love our pets. They are our little furry ‘children.’ When you have a bad day, they always come to you to put a smile on your face. Often when you are sick, they won’t leave your side. Somehow they know what you need.
The fact is that animals are naturally quite psychic. They can pick up on your moods, and they watch you to see what you need. These little psychics are attuned to the unseen world around us, and if you have a spirit in your home, your pet will probably be the first one to notice. They can see things that we can’t, and they will react accordingly.
You’ll notice that your cat will watch the air and move its eyes as if tracking something moving around the room. Then there are dogs who bark at an empty corner of the room. Well, at least to you it looks empty, but really, something is there! If your home is haunted, then you know how your pets react when something manifests. Even rabbits will thump their back feet when an entity is near.
There are good spirits and negative ones. If your home is inhabited by the kind ones, then your dog may still bark at them. Your pet is simply alerting you to the fact that someone strange is in your home. I’ve known people who have witnessed a spirit petting their cats and dogs. These people have seen the fur being matted as the animal is getting stroked. Friendly ghosts love animals and still like to pet them from the other side.
In some cases, you will see your pet looking up at the air, listening to an entity. Their heads will cock to the side, and then they will take off as if doing so on command. I know one lady whose dog did just this and went to get his bone. Then he dropped the bone at the foot of something invisible. The dog wagged his tail and kept looking at the air waiting for another command!
In another case, a cat followed the unseen entity up the stairs. The cat would pause at certain points as if stopping when the ghost stopped. The home owner followed the cat because it was clear the feline was looking up as if listening to someone. When the cat went into the bedroom, the door closed all by itself behind the cat! There were no windows open. The air was not running. This had never happened before. The owner said when she went to open the door, her cat was laying on its back on the bed with its paw batting at the air, like someone had a cat toy and was playing with it. But no one was there, at least no one she could see. These are the fun interactions. It shows you that what you are dealing with is peaceful and pleasant.
However, that is not always the case. There are negative spirits who attack animals, but those situations are rare. I wrote another article about that, and you can scroll down my blog to look at it. Basically, if you have a bad spirit, then your animals will show signs of stress and become sick. These things do happen, and there is no rational explanation for why it occurs. It is frightening and sad, but those types of cases are not nearly as common as good spirit contact. I just wanted you to know that there are all kinds of entities around us. If you come across a negative one, you do have to deal with it, but most often, the spirit hanging out in your home means you no harm.
If you live in a haunted place, it is likely that your pet tipped you off that someone or something was in your home. They will watch spirits and even follow them. Sometimes they even play with the ghosts. When you watch them, you see that they are having fun. On the other hand, if it upsets your pet, then you have a better idea that something is not quite right.
I should note that pets don’t have to have fur to be psychic. I’ve even seen cases where lizards would act strangely when paranormal activity was occurring. Strange but true. The point is that animals do see entities on the other side. They can be your window into the unseen world and give you a glimpse into the unknown. Pay attention when your little animal friend starts interacting with something that you cannot see. There very well may be a spirit close by.
