Alien Abductions Involving the Deaf

By Deborah S. Kauflin, Ph.D.

The term alien abduction either scares people or makes them laugh. It seems there is little reaction in between. However, as more and more paranormal shows make headway into popular culture, the notion of aliens visiting our planet has become more accepted.

Lots of people are interested in extraterrestrials. Who wouldn’t be? Intelligent life is something we all seek. It certainly is not out of the realm of possibility to believe that aliens exist somewhere.

There are many people who believe that aliens are already here and have been for a very long time. I’ve spoken to a large number of people who believe that they have experienced E.T. contact. After doing that, I decided to look a specific groups of people who have been through this. As a criminal profiler, I profiled serial killers for 20 years. After retiring, I’ve been working in the paranormal field looking for answers to the biggest questions out there.

So I went looking for people who had specific traits to see if the alien abduction experience is different for certain groups of people. In this paper, I am writing about alien abductions involving the deaf. Since they cannot hear, it was interesting to get a feel for their perceptions of their experiences.

Though most routine E.T. contact begins with either a high pitched noise or a clicking sound, the deaf could not hear such noises. Instead, they felt a buzzing or electrical type charge on their bodies. Many talked about seeing a light right before or at the same time they felt this vibrating or buzzing sensation. The light was described as being either white or bluish. And almost every person who experienced this said that when the light appeared, they got goosebumps.

One of the abductees was not fully deaf and used a hearing aid. He said that after sitting on his couch, feeling the vibrations in his stomach, he then found himself on very large table in a big room. He could not remember how he got there. There were 3 small grey colored creatures with large heads standing over him. The entities had taken his hearing aid out and seemed fascinated with it. The abductee stated that they almost seemed to fight over which one got to hold the hearing aid. These three beings were smaller entities who immediately acted subservient to a larger entity which came into the room after a few minutes. The larger being was very tall and had what the abductee described as a bug type head. It scared him so much that he passed out. When he woke up, it was the next morning, and he was on his couch. His hearing aid was not working right. It produced a lot of static which it had never done before.

Likewise, other abductees recalled being on a table, while others talked about walking through a dark hallway. The consistent factor was the entities. The descriptions tend to point to the grey aliens. A few talked about human looking beings who were extraordinarily beautiful or handsome. The role of the ones who resembled humans was to comfort the abductees. Though this was the purpose, it did not work well. The abductees said there was something ‘off’ or ‘different’ about these humanoids. Something was not quite right. Whatever happened, the entities were ALWAYS present. The abductees were never alone. They felt watched constantly.

It is interesting to point out that though this set of abductees are deaf, they could understand the entities speaking in their minds. It was a telepathy, and the people knew exactly what was being communicated. One entity asked why one female abductee could not hear like other humans and wanted to know why human doctors would not fix this problem. The only thing this woman could manage to think of was her family. She was so frightened that she could not provide any answers to these ‘monsters’ in front of her. Over and over, she pictured her family and prayed. She felt pain on her leg, but she did not see if an entity touched her or if some kind of instrument touched her. Because she was so scared, she tried not to look at them. Still, she would peek at them every now and then. She said that the beings appeared frustrated with her because she was almost paralyzed with fear and tried not to look at them. I asked how she knew they were frustrated, and she said that she felt their anger. In her own words: “you know when someone’s mad at you, like when you’re talking to someone who is mad.” In her description, she relayed how there was a feeling of contempt coming from the beings. In short, she said she felt hated by these creatures.

Several other abductees spoke of an alien putting its long finger in their ears. Not enough to hurt them, but enough to scare them. And scare them it did.

One of the grey looking entities told an abductee that they (aliens) have trouble understanding humans. To them, humans are unpredictable and have too much diversity which is not true of their kind (at least the ones involved in this case). In fact, from the descriptions, these beings appear very uniform in appearance, thought, and behavior. The Borg from Star Trek comes to mind since it appears as if when one alien learns something, they all learn it (like through some connected telepathy).

After the abduction experiences, all felt an impact to their lives. The majority suffered problems. Friends and family did not believe them, and many developed illnesses right afterward. A very small group looked at the experiences as transformative, and they changed their lives for the better. They became very spiritual and felt a peace they had never known. So the abductees do not have the same after effects. One wonders why some seem to get hurt while others almost seem blessed by the experience.

To those who have not read a lot about this, these stories may seem far-fetched. Scientists may say that neurological disorders can produce thought problems and hallucinations, and such a medical issue could explain the bizarre accounts. Yet, there have been people who have claimed to have been abducted who have gone through a battery of medical tests which have found nothing out of the ordinary except a suspicion of radiation exposure in one case.

Other skeptics will say these people are either mentally ill or lying. While it is certainly true that there is a large number of people who are not quite right in the head, I have reviewed these cases and most are professional working people who are educated and have no monetary or seemingly other reason to come forward with these accounts. They are not seeking money or fame. They simply want answers as to what happened to them.

SOMETHING is going on. Whether one chooses to believe that the events are real or fake, the experiences do happen to the people who go through them. We need more research to find out what really is occurring. Because if aliens truly are here, we’ve got a lot more to worry about than bickering between skeptics versus believers.

The E.T. Stare: How Aliens control people with their eyes

By Deborah Kauflin, Ph.D.

Do you believe in aliens? How hard is it to think that another species has visited our planet? The possibilities are endless if you think about it. Many say that they have had some type of contact with extraterrestrials. The reported contacts involve everything from the dreaded abductions to quite pleasant, loving experiences. Everyone from farmers in the fields to judges out for a Sunday drive have reported the phenomenon. And stories come in from around the planet.

Of course we have to consider all explanations when listening to these accounts. Are those who claim to go through these experiences simply lying, or are they mentally ill? Is this nothing more than a case of mistaken identity, where people have night terrors and nightmares which they wrongly believe actually happened to them? Maybe it is a hallucination produced by physical illness, medication side effects, or massive stress. There is also research which shows that weak EMF fields can cause people to hallucinate (Persinger, 2016). Perhaps these experiencers had been exposed to weak EMF fields which acted on their brains. Those are certainly plausible explanations which should always be considered when someone comes forth with such tales.

But what if is something else? What if entities are visiting us and making contact? It is a worthy topic to study, no matter what the naysayers claim. If aliens are here, then we must investigate. We have a duty to look into topic. After all, who wants to be in the dark about creatures from other worlds, creatures who are watching and perhaps intervening in our lives? Putting our heads in the sand won’t make them go away.

Those who have come forward with accounts of alien abductions have been laughed at and even ruined professionally and financially. The cynics drip with hate as they attack witnesses for simply telling their stories. However science involves investigation and questioning. If people make up their minds before even glancing at a subject, progress will never be made. After all, how can you learn if your mind is closed?

We owe it to contactees to listen because if even a bit of their stories is real, then we would be putting ourselves in peril by ignoring them. By listening and investigating, we can learn not only about the human psyche, but potentially open up whole new worlds.

Let’s face it, if aliens are here, they have abilities that are way beyond our own. This by itself is scary. Yet they aren’t killing all of us. We aren’t slaves to some reptilian E.T. overlords. If they had the means to kill us and wanted to do so, then we would be dead. So either they aren’t here, they don’t have the resources to kill us, or they don’t want to. That doesn’t mean that they do not do present a threat to us. There are plenty of stories involving violent abductions which resemble something out of a horror movie. Yet, overall, we haven’t been overrun by little grey men with ray guns.

I can tell you that the alien contact stories I hear are very similar, whether abductees come from Australia, Africa, The Netherlands, or the U.S.A. There is definitely a pattern to how these cases unfold. Abductees tell tales of seeing lights in the sky or in their homes (red or blue). After seeing the lights or a ball of light, creatures appear. The descriptions vary from greys, reptilians, little furry creatures, tall whitish humanoids, blue eyed beings, Asian looking entities, balls of light, and more. *As a side note, based on the people I have talked to, if these things are real, I believe that E.T.’s can make you see what they want you to see.

And here is where the mind to mind contact comes in. From what abductees have told me and other researchers have found, there is a great deal of telepathy and mind connection. That is, experiencers will just know what the E.T.’s are communicating without ‘hearing’ it. Then there is the alien stare. A lot of abductees speak of having a strange looking creature stare into their eyes to get information as well as to control the abductees. They recall being incapacitated by the alien staring into their eyes. Further, the stare seems to act like a knock out drug. When abductees resist, an entity inevitably comes close and locks eyes with the human. This produces immobility and then grogginess, if not sleep.

As I’ve written before, it may be that extraterrestrials know how to activate the pineal gland to produce melatonin and thus sleep. Clearly, they seem to be able to effect the human nervous system and have perfected a way to knock us out without landing a punch.

Along the same vein, abductees report having an alien stare into their eyes and absorbing information. People often refer to it as a mind scan. It like they can look into our minds through our eyes and see whatever we have seen. Wouldn’t that be an interesting skill to have?

Though this part is even harder to believe, some abductees report sexual behavior or touch during their abduction experiences. Aliens appear to be interested in human sexuality and reproduction. For that reason, abductees tell stories of E.T.’s touching them in a sexual manner in order to produce orgasm and/or collect sperm. When orgasm is reached, aliens will often rush over to stare into the human’s eyes. Does that suggest that E.T.’s ‘feel’ human emotions or body sensation when they gaze into people’s eyes? Do they stare into the eyes during a period of great pleasure in order to capture that pleasure for themselves or to somehow study the neurological process going on in the brain at that moment?

The very well- known and respected Derrel Sims has been studying aliens for decades, and he has come to the conclusion that E.T.’s see in infrared, ultra violet, and x-ray type vision. So when they stare in the eyes, they actually could be doing an x-ray on your brain!

I know all this sounds way too weird to believe. I totally understand that. Yet you have to remember that these stories come from around the world and often from multiple witnesses at once. While I certainly cannot rule out EMF and geomagnetic factors acting on the brain to produce hallucinations, I also cannot rule out the possibility that aliens have been here. The similarity of the abduction stories warrants our attention, whether you believe in extraterrestrials or not. Something is going on. Perhaps someday we will be able to put the puzzle together so we can understand more about ourselves as well as the E.T.’s who may very well be here.

Aliens can abduct your pets

By Deborah Kauflin, Ph.D.

A retired police officer began having the strangest dreams. In the dreams, he was floating through his bedroom wall and then laying on a table without his clothes on. As he was laying on the table, unusual creatures stood around him. These creatures had skin that resembled that of a lizard. He had trouble seeing their faces, but when they touched him, he felt that their skin was rough.

During this first ‘dream,’ he could hear his two dogs barking. He became scared. As he looked around, he could not see his dogs. The detective got agitated and began struggling to get up. This made the creatures come over to him and touch his forehead. With that, he passed out.

When he woke up, he was in his bed at home with his socks missing from his feet. Usually his dogs greeted him and would wake him up, but not this day. Worried, he got out of bed and began looking around the house. Finally, he found his two schnauzers cowering under the kitchen table. Though the ‘dream’ had been incredibly weird, he didn’t give it a second thought. He was more concerned with his dogs. Eventually he was able to coax them out from under the table using treats. But they were upset all day, and one even had an accident in the house, something she never did.

The next night, nothing happened. There were no weird dreams, and his dogs happily woke him up the next morning. Again, he didn’t give much thought to his experience until several weeks later when he had the ‘dream’ once more. This time, he remembered being on a table, feeling a tingling sensation throughout his body, and awareness that something was being put into his mouth. He was kind of hazy, the way you feel when coming out of anesthesia after surgery. However, he heard his beloved dogs barking near him. This gave him a boost of energy. He started fighting to get up and managed to slightly push one of the creatures away from him. It was at this point that his dogs stopped barking. He looked to his right and saw the creatures holding his dogs. The detective remembered yelling and trying to lunge at the creatures just before everything went dark.

The next thing he knew, he woke up in his bed. He said he kicked his covers off because he was rattled. Then it dawned on him that his dogs had not awakened him. He ran out of his bedroom, calling for his pets. A whimper came from under the kitchen table where his two dogs were hiding. They were so upset that they were shaking, which was very unusual for the pair. His pets were quite brave. As the detective said “nothing ever scared them.”

He still didn’t think that anything was going on beyond having frightening nightmares. So he kept reassuring his dogs who suddenly turned from fearless animals into overly sensitive, scared dogs.

Two weeks later, the detective had the same dream. He found himself on a table with greyish creatures surrounding him. He remembered his heart racing and worried he might have a heart attack. This time he noticed that there was more than one type of creature with him. There were three smaller ones and two larger ones. The larger ones kept their distance while the smaller ones kept close.

In this ‘dream,’ he said he kept going in and out of consciousness. Time after time, he’d wake up and see the taller entities leaning over him while he felt something inside his stomach. It was as if he was being operated on. Each time he’d wake up, the little creatures would quickly come toward his head, and then he would pass out. And every time this happened, he fought like crazy to stop them.

When he woke the next day, he immediately noticed that his dogs were not there. He called to them but did not hear anything. He went searching for his pets, but to his horror, he could only find one. His other dog was missing. The doors and windows were shut and locked. There was no way that his dog could be gone. It just wasn’t possible.

This man was a high ranking detective in a major US city. His reputation is that of a no nonsense guy. Certainly, he is not the type to make up stories for attention. The man does not take drugs or drink. Everyone who knows him says that he is emotionally balanced and that he absolutely loves his dogs. They are like children to him.

He searched high and low, put out fliers, and offered a reward. Yet he could not find his dog. Once his dog disappeared, the ‘dreams’ seemed to stop. Yet, every now and then, he will have another abduction experience. It wasn’t until he was flipping through TV channels one night that he saw a program on aliens. After doing some research, he found other people who had had similar experiences. He came to me because of my background as a criminal profiler which gave him a level of trust. Even so, it took him years to talk about what happened to him. As a law enforcement officer, he just could not believe what had happened.

This man is not alone in his experience. Several other alien abductees have reported seeing their pets on what they deem alien craft during their abductions. Most of these people had their animals returned, and they were positive that they saw their pets during their encounters. Furthermore, like the detective’s dogs, the abductee pets also began acting strangely afterward. Confident pets turned into worried, stressed animals. One woman reported that her cat was missing a square patch of hair on its back one morning after one of these occurrences.

The one thing all these cases have in common is that the people involved felt powerless during and after alien contact. Some woke up with scars on their bodies that had not been there the night before abduction. Others shared their ‘dreams’ with family members only to learn that sons or daughters had the same ‘dream’ on the same night.

With the powerlessness comes fear, fear that the creatures will come back for them. And as the detective said to me “if they took my dog, what else will they take?”
