Special needs community and ghosts

If you have special needs, you very likely have a unique ability to interact with the paranormal. I’ve been talking to a lot of people with varying special needs ( CP, Autism, and others). In doing so, I have found something remarkable. Many have strong ties to spirits. This can be jarring and unexpected. However, most adjust well when they understand what is happening.

Some of the amazing skills they have include:

Talking to spirits

Seeing ghosts

Having increased psychic ability

  1. Talking to spirits. It has been said if one of your senses is compromised, then others become stronger. This is often true with those with special needs. It does not matter what your ‘this-ability’ is. People with different abilities all have been found to possess elevated skills with the supernatural. A large number naturally grow in their connection to the paranormal. They have strong skills when it comes to recognizing and even talking to spirits. These men and women do so telepathically and even through art. They draw or write as a means to communicate. This is used by spirits who are better able to talk through such individuals. Pay attention to these pieces of art and writings. They tell a story and clue you in to what is really around you.
  1. Seeing ghosts. Special needs people can often see ghosts and other entities. I’ve come across this several times over the years. I know a young boy with CP who is an excellent ghost detector. He can see spectral entities, even if they are trying to hide. No matter what is lurking in a haunted house, he has the ability to go right to it. He is remarkable. He can describe spirits with stunning detail and give you a picture of what is taking place in a haunted location. He is very shy and has has the most wonderful personality. He wants to be a paranormal researcher when he grows up.
  1. Increased psychic ability. I’ve met those who can not only see spirits and talk to them, but also predict what will happen in the future. They have strong gut instincts which you should listen to. They can warn you about people, spirits, and events which will happen. Take the time to listen to them and understand what they are telling you.It could save your life. I’ve personally seen them make some laser accurate predictions.

There is a whole other world right here, and special needs individuals can provide a window into what is right beside us. Don’t dismiss those who are different from you. Don’t assume you know what someone’s abilities are just by looking at them. Never judge a book by its cover. With skills and unique ties to spirits, it is as if many with special needs have some kind of super power. Let’s face it, being able to see a ghost or communicate with something otherworldly is kind of a super power. It is exciting to see how many exercise these abilities and the impact they have on people’s lives.

I’m doing ongoing research about those with special needs and the paranormal. If you have a story or would like to participate in research into what is going on with the supernatural, email me.  Contact: deborahkauflin @ gmail.com
